Garnell Corporate Communications have an exciting new opening for an enthusiastic Internal Business Development Executive to join our dynamic, vibrant sales department.

We are an award-winning provider of telecoms and digital solutions to the business sector - recognised for quality of service and boasting an impressive portfolio of corporate clients.

We are looking for an energised, ambitious sales professional who can generate new leads.

The Business Development Executive Can Expect:

  • Competitive basic salary + Commission 

  • 20 days annual leave, rising to 25 days after completion of your first year (PRO RATA)

  • Garnell Communications are an EOT (Employee Ownership Trust) company, and as such you may be eligible for a bonus based on company performance.

This is a part time role, working hours are 10:00am – 2:30pm (ideally 3 days per week but flexible for the right candidate).

A “can-do, positive attitude”, willingness to make a lot of calls, and gathering really useful information are the most important skills needed, plus pride and passion to deliver results.

Key Responsibilities of the Business Development Executive:

  • Gathering information from calls and own research relating to telecoms and IT supply and updating a database

  • Creation and fulfilment of mini marketing campaigns

  • Arranging call backs and appointments for the field sales team

  • Contacting prospective customers from a database via telephone and email

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Excellent telephone manner and a positive attitude

  • Is comfortable making a high volume of calls per day

  • Good education & abilities in Word, Office 365

  • Interest in marketing and lead generation

  • Self-starter who is tenacious and success-driven
